The Wayne State Warriors opened the 2013 home season with the first collegiate night game in Adams Field’s history on Sept. 14. The opener was just the first of many exciting events this season – the Homecoming game on Oct. 5 will feature several fun activities for the entire family.

Wednesday, Oct. 2
Warrior Wednesday: Rock your green and gold and get rewarded by WSU’s Spirit Squad.
Homecoming celebration: Check out the WSU Bookstore for giveaways, games, food and special discounts from 6 to 9 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 5
Tailgate: Gather in Lot 50 outside the Matthaei Physical Education Center beginning at 9 a.m. Enjoy free parking, music, face painting, contests and games.
2013 Homecoming & Alumni Awards: Taking place from 10 a.m. to noon at Matthaei Physical Education Center. Enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes, prizes, and children’s activities at the Alumni Zone tent. Reservations are required and tickets are $15 per person and $5 for children 10 and under. Call 877-WSU-ALUM for more information.
Homecoming game: Cheer on your Wayne State Warriors as they take on the Northwood Timberwolves at noon at Adams Field. The family can also enjoy face painting and other events in the Kids’ Zone.
