The Board of Governors recently recognized President Allan Gilmour by renaming Ferry Mall in his honor. The dedication will ensure that future generations of WSU students recognize the outstanding leadership and dedication Gilmour brought to the university during his brief, yet significant, tenure.

Many of Gilmour's accomplishments were lauded during a recent board meeting, including his compassion and support for WSU students.

Gilmour Mall runs adjacent to the McGregor Memorial Conference Center and the Arthur Neef Law Library.

A farewell reception and ice cream social for Gilmour is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30. The event will take place in Pincus Court on Gilmour Mall. To RSVP, visit WSU's events calendar.
