Three Wayne Law alumni will share their experiences founding Detroit-based nonprofits and discuss the role of their law backgrounds in their current work during a special panel presentation April 3 at Wayne Law. The lecture begins at 12:15 p.m. in room 2242 of the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights, and is free and open to the public.

The speakers:

Aisa Villarosa-Berg, founder, 313 Project, which began in 2009 as a student coalition at Wayne State University Law School and connects the legal community to Detroit’s underserved population through pro bono, educational and charitable efforts;

Jeff Aronoff, executive director, D:hive, which connects the community with the tools and resources needed to live, work or engage in Detroit; and

Matt Clayson, director, Detroit Creative Corridor Center, which partners with Tech Town to provide business acceleration services to Detroit’s creative community.
