MORE INFO:
The Foundations of Michigan's Economy: Growing economies are underpinned by public policies and institutions that provide good "rules of the road" for the free market to function;  lay strong foundations in the form of education, research, and infrastructure the market does not provide; and support democratic processes that ensure economic and political power is broadly shared. Austin will discuss where Michigan's economy is today and what must be done to build growth and prosperity for the future.

Wayne State University is a premier urban research institution offering more than 370 academic programs through 13 schools and colleges to nearly 29,000 students.
