Wayne State University appoints new AVP of enrollment

Wayne State University has appointed Corinne M. Webb as associate vice president of enrollment, effective immediately.
Webb has more than 35 years of experience in enrollment management, student life and academic affairs at universities across the country. She joins Wayne State from the Higher Education Compact of Greater Cleveland, where she was a project manager.

“We’re thrilled that Ms. Webb has chosen to join Wayne State University,” said Ronald Brown, Wayne State provost and senior vice president for academic affairs. “We are confident that her previous university experience coupled with her industry experience and leadership will help us reach our student enrollment goals.”

"I am delighted to have this opportunity to assist the faculty and administration in advancing the university's teaching, research and public service mission,” said Webb. “Moreover, I am very pleased to have the new opportunity to work with many key stakeholders in ensuring our students are afforded quality care and excellent customer service as they endeavor to complete their academic pursuits in timely fashion."

Webb earned a juris doctorate from Widener University School of Law, and master of public administration and bachelor of arts degrees from Rutgers University.

Webb, originally from Brooklyn, NY, lives in Detroit with her husband, Bob Neese. Her two step-sons, Bobby Neese and Ben Neese, live in Key West, FL, and Nashville, TN, respectively.
