WHAT:
El Salon de Nuestra Cultura, a student organization at Wayne State University, is hosting "Musica y Fotos: Tony Gleaton Collection Unveiling." A permanent installation of 16 photographs by Detroit native Tony Gleaton will be on display, and the artist will be the evening's keynote speaker.
The World Jazz Trio will play Latin jazz music during the event.

Photographer Tony Gleaton, born in Detroit, maintains deep ties to the city. The permanent display of his photographs, located in the El Salon de Nuestra Cultura Hispanic Heritage Room, reveal the artist's desire to give back to the city. The black and white photographs feature everyday people from around Latin America and California.
