Since the H1N1 "hysteria" has faded, you may not have heard much about the flu season this year. However, it's still important to get vaccinated because the flu is unpredictable! The flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and lungs. It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death.
