Bing, feds settle on Woodward rail plan; M1 Rail investors haven\'t weighed in

Detroit Mayor Dave Bing and the federal government on Wednesday announced that the $528 million streetcar-style rail project along Woodward Avenue will be a mixture of curbside and median-running service. There will be 19 stops, including 10 in the heart of downtown. Henry Ford Hospital and Wayne State University also have committed $3 million each for a station.
