Detroit restores power after outage

Numerous media outlets reported on the power outages in Detroit last Thursday and over the weekend. In the Detroit News story, Kipp Cycholl, a Wayne State University construction manager, said the half of the campus on the Detroit Public Lighting system is the one that failed. The section of campus served by DTE is up. A variety of buildings were affected, including dorms, classrooms, the undergraduate library and the Barnes and Noble bookstore.
