Wayne State University's School of Business Administration welcomes two additional executives to its already outstanding lineup of Board of Visitors members. David M. Leone and Katie Maple McBride, both employees of General Motors, recently accepted seats on the board.
The school's Board of Visitors is a group of alumni, business leaders and community members that supports the school in many ways. Its primary functions include helping with development, community involvement, academic support and strategic planning.
Leone, a Troy resident, is global vehicle chief engineer for GM's global rear wheel drive and performance vehicle development team. He received a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Oakland University and an M.B.A. from Wayne State.
Maple McBride is executive director of communication at GM. The Birmingham resident earned a bachelor's in public relations from Marietta College and a master's in communication at WSU.
