The James Pearson Duffy Department of Art & Art History is pleased to announce the 2011 WSU Undergraduate Exhibition at the Art Department Gallery, April 15 through May 13. This exhibition features over 200 works of art and design by undergraduate students representing the department's thirteen studio areas.
The opening reception will be held on Friday, April 15, from 6:00 to 9:00PM and will include the WSU Scholarship Awards. Award recipients will be announced at 7:30PM in the gallery. A closing reception will be held on Friday, May 13, from 5:00 to 8:00PM. At the closing reception, WSU Art Installation Award winners will be announced at 6:00 PM. All events are free and open to the general public. The Art Department Gallery is located in the Art Building on the campus of Wayne State University, near the intersection of Cass Avenue and Kirby Street. Metered street parking is availabl,e and is free after 6:00PM.
