DETROIT (April 7, 2011) - Wayne State University Law School congratulates student members of the 2011-12 Wayne Law Review Editorial Board.

Students board members include: Editor-in-Chief Michael J. Jameson; Executive Articles and Survey Editor Jennifer L. Gross; Executive Note and Comment Editor Margaret C. Stalker; Managing Editor Nicholas P. McElhinny; Production Editor Heather N. Piotrowski; Symposium Editor Jessica E. Bajkowski; Senior Note and Comment Editors Brian Hodgman, Caroline Giordano, Valerie R. Jackson, Sarah L. Wixson and Brian W. Wolfe; and Senior Articles Editors Yosef Abraham, Brett A. Asher, Olukunle Fadipe; Thomas D. Fuentes, Bridget M. Hathaway, Melissa A. Helminiak, Stephanie Karisny, David M. Moss, Carolyn E. Noble, Robert M. O'Reilly, Mallory Tomaro and Bradley Taormina.

"My congratulations to the new board members," said Wayne Law Dean Robert M. Ackerman. "Our Law Review boards continue to perform with distinction, and I am confident that the new board will be equal to the task. I look forward to working with them."

"It is certainly an honor to be named as next year's editor-in-chief of the Wayne Law Review," Jameson said. "On behalf of the board, I look forward to working with the faculty, administration and all board members to ensure the Law Review continues to positively reflect the values and caliber of our Law School."

The incoming board will officially begin its tenure on May 23, 2011, the first Monday following Commencement.

The Wayne Law Review is one of Wayne Law's two student-published scholarly journals. The Law Review is published four times each year and contains articles, book reviews, transcripts, notes and comments by prominent academics, practitioners and students on timely legal topics. Issues include articles of general academic and professional interest authored by law professors and practicing attorneys, as well as comments written by student members. One issue each year highlights a topic of interest discussed at the Law Review's annual symposium. Another issue features an annual survey of developments in Michigan law and is widely read by members of the Michigan legal community.

Students are invited to join The Wayne Law Review on the basis of high academic standing or through a writing competition held each summer. Junior and senior members produce the publication under the direction of a senior administrative board. A faculty adviser oversees the general operation.
