International Education Week presented by the Office of International Programs. This weeklong event held throughout the WSU campus is open and free to the public.

Monday, Nov. 15, through Friday, Nov. 19, 2010

Various locations, Detroit campus.

MORE INFO:                

Wayne State University's Office of International Programs will host more than 20 events during International Education Week, Nov. 15-19, 2010 at various locations around campus. The sessions and events are free and open to the public. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of WSU's efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences in the United States. International Education Week is a celebration of diversity and multiculturalism designed to educate, enlighten and entertain.

We are pleased to kick off the event with an opening ceremony and reception with Khawla Mattar, director of the United Nations Information Centre in Cairo, Egypt. 

Other sessions include: The Liberian Literacy Project Book Drive, Office of International Students and Scholars Cultural and Fashion Show, Career Planning Seminar for International Students, Intercultural Simulations and much more!
