Wayne State University hosts open house for prospective students

WHAT:
Wayne State University Fall Open House

WHEN:
Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, 9 a.m.-noon

WHERE:
Wayne State University's main campus, Detroit, Mich.
Check-In at front of Undergraduate Library, 5155 Gullen Mall.
Parking is available in Structure 5, 5501 Anthony Wayne Drive.

Prospective students will have an opportunity to explore the campus and speak with admissions counselors and program representatives. Activities and resources include:
• Campus tours (including residence halls and the Recreation and Fitness Center)
• Bus tour of Midtown
• Free admission to the WSU football game vs. Ashland
• Financial aid overview
• Panels of current students and alumni
• Presentations by College of Fine, Performing & Communication Arts, College of Engineering, Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences; and the College of Education is conducting a teacher certification information session for post bachelor and graduate students
• Academic resource fair
