Wayne State University's Confucius Institute to sponsor Chinese musical troupe Jan. 30

\"\"What: The Confucius Institute at Wayne State University will be sponsoring the nationally recognized Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) Musical Troupe on Jan. 30, 2010. The 23-member troupe will perform a number of traditional and contemporary Chinese songs and dances.

When: 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010

Where: Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts located at 350 Madison Detroit, Michigan 48226

More Info: The HUST Musical Troupe, which hails from Wayne State University’s sister school, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China, has been nationally recognized for excellence. The troupe is scheduled to perform in Chicago, Kalamazoo, Novi, upstate New York and Washington DC. Teachers in southeast Michigan are encouraged to bring their classes.
