CBS is pioneering an effort to address retention and graduation rates among underrepresented students and first generation college students at Wayne State with the C2C Program, a two-year professional and leadership development plan.

C2C's goal is to increase graduation rates for students at Wayne State University by connecting CBS Scholars with established professionals. The program uses a multi-faceted approach combining career mentorship, community-based research and service learning with professional development and graduate school preparedness. Over the course of nine months, students and mentors explore their career aspirations and how to best achieve them through structured one-to-one meetings and networking events.

C2C professional mentoring bridges the gap between the academic environment and the professional world.
