Dr. Jesse Vivian on Detroit Today

In a "Detroit Today" segment about drug control and recent FDA raids and violations involving generic drug manufacturer Caraco, Dr. Jesse Vivian, professor of pharmacy at Wayne State University, said that the FDA found several violations during a series of raids dating back to October 2008, primarily with how records were kept and variability with the size of pills and capsules. The FDA has warned those who are taking the Caraco generic medication to continue until a specific warning is issued.
