Wayne State University hosts "Spring Preview Day 2009" on March 29

The Wayne State University Office of Undergraduate Admissions is hosting a special Spring Preview (open house) on Sunday, March 29, for prospective and admitted freshmen and transfer undergraduate students to explore academic programs at the university.

Faculty and staff will be available from 1- 4 p.m. to answer questions. The preview, which takes place in Community Arts Auditorium and the McGregor Memorial Conference Center, is located at 450 Reuther Mall on the main campus in Detroit.

"Students and their families can to learn about financial aid, housing, and hear presentations and see science demonstrations from Wayne State's various colleges," says Susan Zwieg, director of undergraduate admissions and orientation. "They also can take part in walking and bus tours of the campus including the medical campus and Midtown." She added that students will be able to speak with a representative from the Office of Military and Veterans Education Benefits about benefits available to veterans, including the new Post-September 11 GI Bill.
