DETROIT (Sept. 18, 2008) - Wayne State University Law School is pleased to present a lecture by Daniel Benjamin of the Brookings Institution titled "The Middle East and the Next President: What Direction for U.S. Foreign Policy?" from 12:15 - 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008.
The lecture will take place in the Law School's Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium and is sponsored by Wayne Law's International Law Students Association.
Daniel Benjamin is a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. and a former member of the National Security Council and a Special Assistant to the President in the Clinton Administration. Benjamin's areas of expertise include European affairs, terrorism and American foreign and security policy. His current research focuses on Islam in Europe, the European periphery and the evolution of Jihadist terrorism.
This lecture is free and open to the public, and parking is available in Structure #1 across from the Law School, on Palmer Street (corner of Cass) for $3.50. Lunch will be provided.
