Board of Governors Distinguished Faculty Fellowships
The Board of Governors Distinguished Faculty Fellowships and Charles H. Gershenson Distinguished Faculty Fellowships have been created to recognize and provide support for members of the faculty whose continuing attainments and current activities in scholarship, research or in the fine and performing arts are nationally distinguished.

• Mary T. Rodgers, professor, Department of Chemistry, CLAS. Resides in Farmington Hills.
• Judith Whittum Hudson, professor, Departments of Immunology and Microbiology, Internal Medicine, and Ophthalmology, School of Medicine and the Kresge Eye Institute. Resides in Novi.

Career Development Chairs are awarded to seven recently tenured faculty as part of the university's program to support the teaching and research endeavors of faculty members who are in the developmental stages of their scholarly careers.

Distinguished Graduate Faculty Award
