Sheriff Mark A. Hackel to review 2007 high profile murder cases: Scheduled talk Feb. 27 at Wayne State University

Sheriff Mark A. Hackel, a Wayne State University alumnus, returns to campus to speak on "Media and Law Enforcement Interaction in Solving Crime," Feb. 27, 12 to 1 p.m., at Bernath Auditorium in the Adamany Undergraduate Library located at 5155 Gullen Mall, Detroit, MI.

Hackel plans to review 2007 high profile murder cases such as Tara Grant, the Kukla children, and others. His focus will include dealing with the media spotlight and utilizing strategies in Crisis Communication, which he attributes as being the key to maintaining law enforcement's credibility and image.

This event is free and open to the public. It is one of a series of discussions sponsored by the Department of Criminal Justice and its student organization, the Criminal Justice Club, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Wayne State University.
