The Wayne State University Graduate School, one of the largest graduate and professional schools in the country, will host an open house for students and working professionals interested in exploring an advanced degree.
Faculty and staff of the Graduate School will be available from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, in the WSU Welcome Center to review applications, answer questions and provide more information about various programs.
"This open house is a wonderful opportunity for potential graduate students to meet with representatives from admissions and to learn more about our programs," said Gary Schickler, Wayne State University's director of graduate admissions. "It is a chance for those who have always wanted a master's degree, or those who now realize they need one to find something that fits their needs."
All incoming graduate students are encouraged to bring copies of their transcripts and standardized test scores to share with academic program representatives and submit them with your application before you leave.
As a special promotion, the $50 application fee will be waived for participants on site.
Wayne State University has 13,000 graduate and professional students who choose from more than 60 doctoral degree programs, 130 master's degree programs and 30-plus certificate, specialist and professional programs.
