The Wayne State University Board of Governors will hold its next regular meeting Wednesday, Nov. 28, in Room BC at the McGregor Memorial Conference Center, 495 West Ferry Mall, in Detroit.
The Board of Governors committees convene at 9:30 a.m. and are open to the public. The board’s standing committee meetings begin with the Budget and Finance Committee at 9:30 a.m., Academic Affairs Committee at 10 a.m., and Student Affairs Committee at 10:30 a.m. Following a break, the board returns for a public session at 2:00 p.m.

Wayne State University’s Board of Governors is one of three university governing bodies in Michigan (including the University of Michigan and Michigan State University) that has constitutional independence. Its members, who serve eight-year terms, are elected by voters throughout Michigan.
