Joseph 'Pops' Ratcliff III of Detroit Crowned Homecoming King at Wayne State University

Joseph ‘Pops’ Ratcliff III of Detroit, Michigan was crowned Homecoming King at Wayne State University’s Homecoming Game on Saturday, October 6, 2007. Ratcliff is a Senior Music major at Wayne State. He shared the honor along with Tiffany Jarois from Waterford, Michigan, a Senior Biology and Honors major who was crowned Homecoming Queen. The students were named royalty during halftime of the football game where the Wayne State Warriors defeated the Gannon Golden Knights with a score of 56-21. They were selected as King and Queen because of their leadership and participation in activities at Wayne State University while also maintaining good academic standing.
