DETROIT – April 20, 2007 -- The Wayne State University Alumni Association has launched a new electronic newsletter, Let’s Go!, a 24/7 guide for what to do and where to be. The e-newsletter coincides with the launch of WorldWideWayne (also known as W3), the organization’s new online community.
Let’s Go! will be e-mailed every month. It complements the alumni association’s newly revamped range of communications, including the award-winning @ Wayne State e-newsletter and www.alumni.wayne.edu Web site.
“This is just another way the alumni association is staying connected to Wayne State alumni, no matter where they are in the world,” says Marguerite Rigby, executive director of the alumni association. “Over the last few years, the alumni association has developed a number of electronic communications, and Let’s Go! is our newest and most exciting addition.”
Wayne State alumni can subscribe to the e-newsletter by registering for free on WorldWideWayne, www.alumni.wayne.edu/W3, an online meeting place to share business cards, swap stories and search for old friends.
People who aren’t alumni of Wayne State also can read Let’s Go! by visiting www.alumni.wayne.edu/letsgo.
The Wayne State University Alumni Association has been building loyalty and support among alumni for more than 70 years. No matter where they are in life or in the world, alumni association members stay connected through special events, personal and professional development, exclusive discounts, member-only publications and many other benefits.
