WSU signs new grid recruits

Wayne State University announced the signing of 25 new recruits for the football team this fall. "What stands out most about this class is the fact we signed young men from some of the best high school programs in Michigan and Ohio," said head coach Paul Winters. "We also had success in the city of Detroit as well as most of the surrounding suburbs. Our staff has done an exceptional job of targeting the top student-athletes in the area and has competed well against the Mid-American Conference and other schools in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference." Winters concluded that the entire 2007 recruiting class represents WSU's commitment to quality student-athletes and competitive, talented football players.
