The Detroit Jazz Festival has named Terri Ponremoli as artistic and executive director. One of her first official duties Thursday was to announced a partnership with Wayne State University, starting with "Jazz Week at Wayne," beginning July 23. The program will allow high school students to study with WSU jazz faculty and Detroit jazz artists. The students will perform at the 2007 Detroit Jazz Festival
