Wayne State University Board of Governors to meet Jan. 24

The Wayne State University Board of Governors will hold its next regular meeting Wednesday, Jan. 24, in the Student Center Building, Hilberry Room B and C, 5221 Gullen Mall, in Detroit.

The Board of Governors committees convene at 9 a.m. and are open to the public. The board’s standing committee meetings begin with the Academic Affairs Committee at 9 a.m., Budget and Finance Committee at 9:45 a.m. and Student Affairs Committee at 10 a.m.
The agenda for the meeting and documents to be discussed may be accessed at the board’s Web site, www.bog.wayne.edu.

Wayne State University’s Board of Governors is one of three university governing bodies in Michigan (including the University of Michigan and Michigan State University) that has constitutional independence. Its members, who serve eight-year terms, are elected by voters throughout Michigan.
