Worrying about the least of these

In this week's column, Lessenberry expresses concern for the plight of foster children in Michigan who have nowhere to go once they "age out" of the foster care system. He references a Wayne State University study that found that such youths who did find work earned an average of $5,400 annually. Nearly half of them had been homeless, and more than half were on some form of public assistance. He said neither candidate for governor has addressed the issue during the campaign.
