Wayne State magazine honored by CASE V

Publication receives an honor for best redesign

Wayne State magazine, an exclusive benefit for alumni association members, was honored for best redesign by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) district V.

The magazine received a bronze award in the 10,000-plus (member) category. It will be recognized during the annual CASE V conference in December.

The magazine’s staff includes Marguerite Rigby of Farmington Hills, executive director of the alumni association; Michelle Franzen Martin of Grosse Pointe Woods, editor; Sarah Freeman of St. Clair Shores, managing editor; and Beaufort Cranford of Dearborn, contributing editor. Wayne State alumna Marge Kelly of Grosse Pointe is the magazine’s art director.

The magazine was redesigned in spring 2006.
