Marlene Dietrich Book Launch Events!

\"\"Wayne State University Press is excited to celebrate the publication of A Woman at War:
Marlene Dietrich Rememered
with two special events in November. The book probes beyond
Dietrich’s glamorous persona, famous love affairs, and legendary performances to
explore the untold story of her artistic achievements, her involvement in American politics,
and her personal struggles with Nazi Germany. These aspects of her character—and the
fact that to her it was her most important work—deserve to be more widely known.
