Three best-selling Wayne State University Press authors will be appearing at book signings during the month of September. These events are great opportunities to meet accomplished writers in person and learn more about their books. Events include:
Saturday, September 9: Charles K. Hyde, author of The Dodge Brothers, will be speaking and signing copies of his book as part of the Old Car Festival at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI. More information at http://www.thehenryford.org/village/events/ocf/default.asp.
Monday, September 11: Marcy Heller Fisher, author of Fired Magic, will speak from 7:00–8:00 PM, on “The Architectural Legacy of the Pewabic Pottery” at the Harper Woods Public Library (19601 Harper Avenue, Harper Woods, MI 48225).
Wednesday, September 13: Poet Jack Ridl, author of Broken Symmetry, will be reading as part of Hope College’s Visiting Writers Series at the Knickerbocker Theatre (86 East 8th Street, Holland, MI, 49423).
Tuesday, September 19: Poet Jack Ridl, author of Broken Symmetry, will be reading at the Portage District Library (300 Library Lane, Portage, MI 49002).
