State's $100M pumps up tech

A list at the bottom of an article about the first recipients of monies from Michigan 's 21st Century Jobs Fund includes Wayne State and TechTown. WSU will get grants of $2.03 million, $302,761 and $700,841. TechTown will get $776,676. The projects were not specified in the list. Universities and nonprofit groups that won approval for funding under the program will get grants, while businesses will receive loans.
