Major speakers will be Jerome Vaughn, senior news editor at WDET-FM; Kurt Metzger, director of research for United Way of Southeastern Michigan ; and Eleanor Josaitis, co-founder of Focus: Hope. Ann Cuddohy Slawnik, director of the institute, pointed out that it attracts a variety of attendees, including corporate and nonprofit executives and media representatives. "It's a great way to meet a lot of different people in three days," she said.
