Detroit—Wayne State University will offer applicants on-site undergraduate admission decisions for the Fall 2006 term during sessions scheduled for Aug. 21 through Sept. 1. These On-Site Admissions Sessions will be held in the university’s Welcome Center on the main campus. The WSU Welcome Center is located at 42 West Warren, at the northwest corner of Warren and Woodward Avenues. Sessions will be held Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. No reservations are needed.
“These sessions will give students the opportunity to talk with an adviser about financial aid, transfer credits and academics and to learn whether they will be admitted to Wayne State,” says Susan Zwieg, director of undergraduate admissions.
“Applicants should bring transcripts from all previously attended colleges as well as high school transcripts if they have fewer than 12 transferable college credits,” Zwieg adds.
An application fee of $30, payable by check or money order to Wayne State University, is required for instant admission; cash will not be accepted. For additional information call the Undergraduate Admissions Office at 1(313) 577-3577 or visit www.admissions.wayne.edu/onsite.
