Wayne State University recently announced a program intended to meet the needs of mid-career workers seeking to upgrade their skills to meet the needs of today\'s employers. The NewStart Program allows adults who have been in the workplace to earn a degree or certificate in business, computer science, engineering, education or another high-demand field. Classes will be available at six locations throughout southeast Michigan on schedules that include evenings and some weekends.
