Wayne State University has named veteran attorney Andrea Roumell Dickson executive vice president and chief of staff. Dickson, a WSU alumna and attorney, was previously a shareholder at Detroit law firm Butzel Long. She currently serves on the state bar's Judicial Qualifications Committee. Aside from her labor and employment-litigation background, Dickson has extensive experience working with higher education institutions on organizational and policy issues, WSU said in a release.
