Paralyzed man hopes for results from experimental surgery

The Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, which is a clinical research and training site for the WSU School of Medicine, has announced plans to apply for permission from the Food and Drug Administration to begin clinical trials of a new procedure aimed at helping people with spinal cord injuries to regenerate damaged tissue in the injured area.
