Lawrence Technological University plans to offer a new undergraduate minor in energy engineering this fall. The program is intended to provide mechanical engineering students with a better understanding of alternative or renewable energy sources, fossil fuels, nuclear energy and energy management. The courses also will be offered to practicing engineers as a certificate program.
