Wayne State University experts ready to discuss Middle East dispute

 Frederic Pearson, director, Center for Peace and Conflict Studies and professor of Political Science, is an expert on the latest factional fighting between Israel, Hamas, and Hezbollah, and related issues of international relations.

Professor Pearson says the current spread of violence to Lebanon is a “danger indicative of a possible regional destabilization that plays into the hands of extremist groups. The United States and the west need to take positive action to contain the violence.”
