The Gay Moralist: Lemonade from New York

John Corvino, Wayne State assistant professor of philosophy, wrote this opinion piece about the New York Court of Appeals' decision that their state's constitution does not require equal marriage rights for same-sex couples. Corvino argues that the court's ruling against same-sex marriage was based on them seeing it as unreasonable, rather than unconstitutional.
