Sell Manoogian mansion to cut Detroit 's budget

Robin Boyle professor of urban planning, is quoted in an editorial that urges the City of Detroit to sell the Manoogian Mansion and Rackham Golf Course "to help the financially strapped city overcome a huge budget deficit." When asked about Detroit 's selling park land and other property, Boyle responded: "Those holdings represent the heyday of the city. We are in a new world. It makes accounting sense."
