Labor group to honor successes

William N. Cooke, director of the Douglas A. Fraser Center for Workplace Issues at Wayne State University, was scheduled to be the keynote presenter during the annual "Celebration of Labor-Management Achievements" on May 17 on the Western Michigan University campus. Cook planned to talk about how labor and management can best respond to global competition by a reorganization of work to create a competitive advantage and secure jobs.
