Wayne State's police department will be the home of a cutting-edge hydrogen fuel cell-powered police vehicle, thanks to the Daimler-Chrysler AG Mercedes division. In addition to its law enforcement duties, the car will serve as a laboratory for students in the College of Engineering's Alternative Energy Technology program. A photo of the vehicle is included.
