Detroit-area filmmakers are represented at the Ann Arbor and East Lansing film festivals including Ron Aronson, Wayne State University Distinguished Professor of Humanities. A movie coproduced by Aronson titled "First Amendment on Trial: The Case of the Detroit Six," will be showing Sunday, March 26 at 2 p.m. in East Lansing. The half-hour documentary examines the FBI crackdown on Communist party activity in Detroit in 1952.
