The band Los Lobos has expressed its desire through its manager not to honor the agreement it made with WDET to appear at a fund-raising performance in May. It's an apparent protest over WDET's daytime switch from music to talk. According to WDET spokesperson, Kevin Piotrowski, the station is in the process of booking some other WDET favorites who are interested.
