TechTown will launch on Monday, March 13, a massive effort to redevelop the 12-block area it occupies near the Wayne State campus. Beginning at 9 a.m., the event will include presentations by government officials, urban planners and students, as well as discussion groups. TechTown hopes to renew its neighborhood with landscaping, residences, shops and new businesses by 2020.
