· Anticipate 200 to 500 WSU students, faculty and invited guests.
· Two-time Super Bowl veteran and former Detroit Lion Lomas Brown is among the participants.
· Games include “Can You Target Your Cholesterol,” a football throw; Club XL, affects of leisure drugs; “Eat Your Heart Out,” healthy pizza tasting; the “Jeopardy” of caffeine and stimulants; “The Pace Race,” an obstacle course evaluating heart rate; “It’s Time to Love Your Heart,” guessing cardiac output; Condom Bingo; the “End. . .Zone,” reality of disease ; “Lub, Dub & Grub,” price you pay for junk and other foods; “Hustle for Health and Fitness” and karate demonstration to stimulate heart and tone muscles.
· This fitness and health mixer is part of “40 Days of Fitness,” a NFL multicultural and community impact event leading to Super Bowl XL Sunday. The college is partnering with the Greater Detroit Area Health Council, health systems and other academic institutions to promote healthier lifestyles in metropolitan
