DETROIT – Two alumni association publications, @ Wayne State and Wayne State magazine, each received an award from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District V.
@ Wayne State won an honorable mention for the Teresa Du Bois Exline Award for Best Practices in Communications and Marketing. The award recognizes projects that serve as benchmarks for other institutions, provide a successful solution to overcoming challenges, reflect strategic use of resources, and/or utilize innovative practices. @ Wayne State was launched in November 2004.
Wayne State magazine earned a bronze award in the Most Improved Alumni/Institution Magazine category. The magazine is an exclusive member-only benefit. In 2005, the magazine received awards from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and Awards for Publication Excellence (APEX).
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) is an international association of education advancement officers. The CASE District V includes members from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin.
