First installment in the 2005-6 In Circulation: The Arts and Communication
DETROIT (NOV. 30, 2005) – Wayne State University’s College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts and the University Libraries collaborated in the creation of a series of short lecture/performances or demonstrations titled In Circulation: The Arts and Communication. This exciting series is made up of short, 30 or 60-minute programs taking place in the atrium of the David Adamany Undergraduate Library at the center of campus. Programs contain an educational component and contribute to the vibrancy of the on-campus student experience at Wayne State. The series is free and open to the public.

No Feare Shakespeare
Join actors from the WSU Department of Theatre in an interactive stage experience. Shakespeare’s take on men, women, love, power and relationships is explored using 21st century theatrical elements. You’ve never seen scenes from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet and Taming of the Shrew done like this! Atrium of the David Adamany Undergraduate Library; 3:15 – 3:45 p.m.

Student Video Mini Festival

WSU Concertante Chamber Orchestra
Enjoy the WSU Concertante Chamber Orchestra as it performs pieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This performance will be a prelude to a larger concert, Celebrating the Birth of Mozart, April 17 at 7:00 pm in Community Arts Auditorium. The concert (and, by extension, this In Circulation performance) celebrates the 250th anniversary of Mozart’s birth. Atrium of the David Adamany Undergraduate Library; 2:45 – 3:15 p.m.
